Children are supported to develop early literacy through access to books, storytelling, conversations, mark-making, and meaningful opportunities to recognise letters, sounds, and words within their everyday play. Our learning environments also promote fine motor development through practical life experiences, art, puzzles, threading, cutting, and other hands-on activities that strengthen the muscles needed for writing.

As children grow, they are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for themselves and their learning—caring for their belongings, making choices, solving problems, and building confidence in their own abilities. Through these everyday experiences, children develop the independence, resilience, and social skills that support a smooth and positive transition to school

Yes. We understand that starting childcare is a big milestone for both children and parents. We offer settling visits to help your child become familiar with the environment, teachers, and routines before their first official day.

Families provide their child's lunchbox each day. We encourage healthy food choices and are happy to discuss any dietary requirements.

We recommend bringing:

• A named drink bottle

• Sunhat (during summer)

• Spare clothes

Yes. Eligible children can receive 20 Hours ECE funding from the age of three. Please contact us to discuss how this applies to your enrolment
